Description
Marie-France Van Der Valk is the President of the European Union Committee of Foreign Trade Advisors of France. Her European career has been built over the past 15 years, serving as the Head of the European Affairs Division at MEDEF until May 2025. Since September 1, 2022, she has been responsible for leading the teams in Paris and Brussels in economic diplomacy initiatives driven by MEDEF. She promotes the interests of MEDEF and its members to European institutions on key issues directly or indirectly related to MEDEF federations/members.
Prior to this, and after a career within the Renault Group (Legal Department and then Group Manufacturing Department), she held the position of Director of European Affairs for Renault from 2010 to 2022 and was responsible for the Brussels office of the Renault/Nissan Alliance in 2012.
Holding two postgraduate degrees (DEA) in environmental law and in private international law/international trade, she began her career at the OECD with the Nuclear Energy Agency.
