Valerie Zapico is the CEO and Founder of Valkuren, a company developing Big Data & AI solutions in industrial optimization, mobility, and sovereign AI agents. Valkuren helps organizations improve processes and decision-making through human-centered, data-driven innovation.
Valerie leads the Brussels chapter of Women in Big Data and actively contributes to the AI4Belgium ecosystem. Named Inspiring Fifty Belgium (2020) and ranked in the Top 3 ICT Women of the Year (2023), she also lectures in the “Hands-on AI” program at UMons and contributes to Solvay’s data science curriculum.
